How do I get the Search Shortcuts *My Photos *My Attachments options in my email?

It will be automatically added to ur mail by yahoo...
Im also tried for this... but after some time it is automatically added to my mail

Reply:If you're in Yahoo just start composing and it has a button for "add attachments", just browse to your photos and click "save"...they will automatically be added to your email.
In Outlook do "insert" "picture"...it will give you a menu to browse to where your pictures are located and click "ok" when you find the picture you want to insert.

How do you delete pics off of your photos email?
Click on your My Photos folder, click Message View
For pictures in a sequence (an entire block of pictures), press the Shift key and click the first and last message.
To select random (un-grouped) pictures, click in the check-box beside each picture. Then either press Delete on your keyboard or click Delete in page.
Do the same procedure to delete your My Attachments folder.

Having trouble saving photos from email to yahoo. Is this something new with the beta version?

ive tried shrink pic 6 but it ruins the picture quality i wasnt really impressed

As with converting audio wav files to mp3 reducing the size of a photo will reduce the quality. Information is lost to enable the reduction in file size.
A lot depends on the end use. If a pic is going to be reprinted by the receiver then a larger file size is better. If just a reference type pic is needed then go for more reduction.
Also a lot depends on the resolution and quality of the original.
It's easy enough to try two or three different reduction levels with this app.
Just pick which you think is the best then delete what you don't want.

To be honest. The phone is not that good, only a 128x128 pixel screen. that's about the size of the Recycle Bin Icon on your desktop. best place for the phone. recycle it... Get a Sony Ericsson k800i :)

Are you able to delete old email attachments and Yahoo Photos?
I've figured it out. I noticed a lot of people having trouble with this. The way to delete them is to click on the yahoo photo links. You will see probably over 1000...anyway, just above the first line of photos you will see the words mail image, photo, attchment....click on mail then select all and delete....pretty simple...it cleans them right out. I hope this helps anyone having a problem. I've been trying to figure this out for quite some time now and finally did.

You can open the files up and save them as a jpeg which will compress the files..... If this does not work then send them one at a time.... if that does not work then use stuffit to compress all the files together into one.... that should do the trick unless the person you are sending it to has the smallest amount of memory set on their email for recieving files.

4) change the QUALITY when you save as jpeg.. there isnt much difference at 70% photo quality than at 90% you wouldnt think it's true.. but it is..
DONT forget when you try messing with picture qualities.. always SAVE AS.. that way if you dont like the resulting quality of the picture you can delete and start over from the original..
You can also upload them to yahoo photo album.. and sent the link to the person you want to see the photos.. they can then save them..

My daugher sent me email photos. I opened the photos and hit the arrow button. Other photo appeared that seemed to be attachments like the advertising links that pop up from time to time. Is that what those photos are? Also, when sending someone else photos can any images from your PC automatically attach. (What can I say, I'm older and not computer savvy). Thanks

When scrolling you can see that it is in Temporary Internet Files your attachments is saved, together with a lot of other files from your surfings.

Yahoo mail changes and you need the updates for the browser to continue to use it. Attachments is one of the things that dont work well sometimes because of this. With IE click tools and then Windows Update usually gets the updates. Many of us use Firefox from www.firefox.com because it seems to keep itself updated.
Reply:There could be a couple of things at work here. One, you may have your yahoo account set to stay logged in with you computer and someone could have gone in and deleted them. Check your trash folder. If this is a very recent event, then they may be in there. Another possibility is that, for lack of better terminology, just got too old. It could also be that your storage quota was reached and Yahoo deleted them to make room for more messages or whatever for your account. Lastly, it could be database error with Yahoo. You may see occasionally that you'll get an Uh-Oh, you've run into a temporary problem message while working within Yahoo mail. This could be the case and by some fluke your images were deleted. If you kept them in a separate folder, that folder may have been deleted accidentally, either by you, someone with access to your computer, or your account may have been hacked. I would see about contacting Yahoo and seeing if they can check their records and see what IP addresses your account was accessed from recently, if your personal computer is the only one you use for Yahoo.

Yahoo mail changes and you need the updates for the browser to continue to use it. Attachments is one of the things that dont work well sometimes because of this. With IE click tools and then Windows Update usually gets the updates. Many of us use Firefox from www.firefox.com because it seems to keep itself updated.
Reply:There could be a couple of things at work here. One, you may have your yahoo account set to stay logged in with you computer and someone could have gone in and deleted them. Check your trash folder. If this is a very recent event, then they may be in there. Another possibility is that, for lack of better terminology, just got too old. It could also be that your storage quota was reached and Yahoo deleted them to make room for more messages or whatever for your account. Lastly, it could be database error with Yahoo. You may see occasionally that you'll get an Uh-Oh, you've run into a temporary problem message while working within Yahoo mail. This could be the case and by some fluke your images were deleted. If you kept them in a separate folder, that folder may have been deleted accidentally, either by you, someone with access to your computer, or your account may have been hacked. I would see about contacting Yahoo and seeing if they can check their records and see what IP addresses your account was accessed from recently, if your personal computer is the only one you use for Yahoo.

Sadly, your photos are gone. You should have followed up more diligently while the process was ongoing to make sure your photos ended up where you wanted them.

Photos that are received in as an attachment can't be opened, when I down load the jpeg file and click on open, the screen just flashes but the file does not open.

I'm not so sure what the flashing screen is all about but when you first click "download" and the screen pops up that asks you if you want to "open" or "save", click "save" instead of open...then save it to "my pictures" or whatever folder you want to save it to. Then open the program you use to view/edit pictures and go to file%26gt;open%26gt;C:%26gt;quickenw%26gt;my documents%26gt;my pictures(or whatever folder you saved it to)%26gt; and click whatever file you named the picture and it should pop right up. Right-click inside the folder, highlight "New", and choose New Compressed Folder. Name it whatever you like.
Then highlight and drag all the photos into that folder.

if the relatives were to print the pix she has forwarded to them, they would print out large...it's the format you have set when you upload your pix...you need photo shop or some program that will allow you to adjust your pix before sending them if you want them to be small for the receiver...

they've been emailing like you know how they email you and say "so so has commented your photo" except its not my photo, its someone i just commented...

I receive photos in an email. The photo no longer shows "Save to Yahoo Photos". How can I get this back?.
Since Yahoo Photos is closing soon, it has been disabled to stop further people from adding to photos....

We can't email photos. What can we do please?

Seems stupid to allow a photo of oneself and yet not allow email especially when some of the answers given really 'bug you'.

Hi Carlos, if you wanna send as many pics as u want in one e-mail, then u should use "paint" to make the pics smaller and fit in one e-mail to be able to send them without pain by ignoring the long waiting time to load them , especially if they have very big size of MB's...This is one easy solution that i can suggest. have you installed any updates recently because if you have it could be blocking the program from connecting to the internet or it may be that your anti virus program has tuned on a firewall - go to start windows firewall settings once on there right click and select settings. then select exceptions and add pisca to the list

I tried zipping the folder but it didnt help at all! I left it there for about a half an hour and it didnt to squat! Its only 12 photos!
I tried doing a few at a time (4) but there still there attathing the last 10 minutes!

We all have thatt problem from time to time...just go into MY PHOTOS/MY ATTACHMENTS and you will find them in there if you have not deleted your email message..

check service or service provider for size of files allowed to transfer, then figure out size of images, yahoo allowed 10mb file limit, you can attach set up to limit, then make new email for more,
if image is larger that limit as a tiff or raw file, you can try compressing in zip file, you can also put several images into one zip file,
another method is to upload zip file to file sharing site like rapidshare and send other user notice to pickup images at link,

No, not at all. Y.Photos is a photo sharing service that has no connection with your Y.Mail. Therefore the closing of Y.Photos will not affect your ability to send, receive, and save photos through email.

Basically, they removed 5-10 great features everybody relies on. And they added 5-10 new 'features (BUGS) that causes headaches for mist users. And they offer NO TIMEFRAME for resolving problems and they are unwilling to rollback to the older version of Yahoo Mail.

After clicking "get started" you will get to a page that has instructions on how the system works. When you are done reading, click on "continue to yahoo photos."
Once you have finished the download (it took under a minute for me) there will always be a small menu when you are writing an e-mail, so that you can easily insert photos into your mail. The limit is about 300 photos, from your clipart, a camera, the internet, your scanner, your documents... anywhere.
After you have written your e-mail, and clicked send, you will need to wait while the photos are downloaded. This takes about 30 seconds for me, sometimes less. The pictures are small in the e-mail that is recieved, but the reciever can double-click on the image to enlarge it. Also, you can write short captions for each photo.

The last version of Yahoo I had allowed me to insert photos directly into the body of my email. You could actually see the photo thumbprints and organize, rotate etc. I seemed to have lost that with this new version. Using attachment seems so archiac after having such a nice feature, does anyone know how to get it back?

鈥?Avoid getting listed in online directories or chat rooms Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or web-based email services have online directories that you can sign-up to when subscribing to their service.
Avoid doing this as your email is likely to be harvested by spammers.
Also when using chat rooms make sure that you have a display name so that your email address isn't shown every time you post something.
鈥?Don't use a live email link. Avoid putting live email links on your website as it is the easiest way for spammers to harvest your email address but you have to be careful as potential customers could need that email address.
There are several ways you can solve this problem, for example put a contact form on your website so that people can write messages and the appropriate person can get back to them.
You could also use an auto responder, which is where if someone emails the auto responder it will reply with your company email address; spammers will fail to see this reply.

Why do all pics i receive in email go into photos and attachments, and how do I delete them?

You will not be able to do it in one go by email.
You would need to set up a site on Webshots, photobucket etc which will allow you that many photos.
Consider your brothers 'speed' and if he wants to wait several hours for it to download.

Sure. Just email the pictures to yourself is what I do. I just attach one picture per email. Create a folder just for those emails. Well for your attachments basically forward the email to yourself removing the attachments. Then delete the old email. that's all.There should be a area showing attached items and such then delete those. right click then delete. Or click on it and press remove.

Once you compose your message, click on {attach files}, this takes you to a page where you Browse for photos, click on {browse}, then once you locate your pictures, you click {attach files}.
They should be located up by the top of your message below the subject line...You won't physically see the pictures, just the file name %26amp; size of the file.

Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. photo you will see some selections - go down to delete and hit
delete - It should ask you if you want to delete it - say yes,
and it's gone!
