these pics have been there for years,there ones i sent myself,ones i down loaded,people sent me etc.Could someone please help me?

Yahoo mail changes and you need the updates for the browser to continue to use it. Attachments is one of the things that dont work well sometimes because of this. With IE click tools and then Windows Update usually gets the updates. Many of us use Firefox from www.firefox.com because it seems to keep itself updated.
Reply:There could be a couple of things at work here. One, you may have your yahoo account set to stay logged in with you computer and someone could have gone in and deleted them. Check your trash folder. If this is a very recent event, then they may be in there. Another possibility is that, for lack of better terminology, just got too old. It could also be that your storage quota was reached and Yahoo deleted them to make room for more messages or whatever for your account. Lastly, it could be database error with Yahoo. You may see occasionally that you'll get an Uh-Oh, you've run into a temporary problem message while working within Yahoo mail. This could be the case and by some fluke your images were deleted. If you kept them in a separate folder, that folder may have been deleted accidentally, either by you, someone with access to your computer, or your account may have been hacked. I would see about contacting Yahoo and seeing if they can check their records and see what IP addresses your account was accessed from recently, if your personal computer is the only one you use for Yahoo.
