I am off travelling and need to send photos from an internet cafe back to my workplace via yahoo mail. PLEASE, someone, teach me how to decrease their size so they can be sent and opened quickly, as well as insert them into my email!! Step by step would be much appreciated as i'm not very ict literate!!
Can i make digital photos smaller and email them without using outlook express or a photo program? if so how?
Its all down to how you save or download them. try and do it as a "jpeg" you should find this in a download option when you plug in the camera, but it 's hard to know what camera and what you will be opening them with.
Try and set the camera to take photo's at a lower dpi or resolution.
Reply:i can try to help but im not to sure if i kno exactly what u mean, so lets start with making them smaller, "PHOTOBUCKET" i love this place its online and its kinda like ur online photo storage shed! lol, Plus it allows you to store, resize, upload, and gives you like three different ways to display them also i believe one of those three wil allow u to get a html code so u can e-mail them as well! hope to have helped........
Reply:There are many software packages (both expensive and free) that handle photo-manipulation, but in your case I would suggest using free online tools to resize your pics. Try:
www.PhotoTuner.com
Reply:there are 2 ways u can do this, but since u are on holiday the best way will be to select the picture that u want to send on ur camera and then u will have to change the quality of it,u will have different options, but u will have to adjust the pixels to the lowest form, some cameras will have the option for email,u can choose that option and then load it onto the computer at the cafe, after u send the foto u can alway change the quality back to the original quality, i hope this helps u!!!
