Can a word doc. w/background photos/clip art be copied/ pasted to yahoo email page?

I created a Word document with backgound colors and clip art in order to email, but not as an attachment. I wanted to copy or cut and paste directly on to my yahoo email's message box, then send out the email to various friends. I have tried various ways do it, but I keep failing. I do not know if it's even possible. I need help. HELP!!!!!!!!!!
