Photos, how to email a photo from your display image from yahoo messenger?

Hello, how would I send a photo, that I have created from my display image from my yahoo messenger to a friend thru email... how to get it to my email state first, how would I get that display pic to my email, so that could email it to a friend? THANK YOU TO anyone who can help me.. and you'll get the Best Answer and the pts. if it works... please write very thorough directions...... as I'm still learning on this computer!
